How a file goes in
Get the template
Each list offers a template with its own columns, as CSV or Excel.
Fill and upload
Upload it as CSV or Excel. Columns are matched by their header name, so their order does not matter, and you preview the rows before sending.
Checked row by row
Each row goes through the same create rules as a record typed on screen.
All or nothing
If every row passes, the whole file is saved together. If one fails, nothing is, and each refused row is listed by line.
Details that matter
Up to 5,000 rows
A larger file is refused; split it and upload the parts.
Journals by group
Rows that share a journal key are folded into one journal with its lines.
Download the refusals
The refused rows and their reasons can be downloaded as a CSV to fix and resend.
