CSV import

In Arabic استيراد ملفات CSV

A CSV import loads many records into a system at once from a comma-separated values file, in which each row is a record and each column a field.

In plain words

Moving to a new ERP, or onboarding a hundred new customers, means data that already lives in a spreadsheet. A CSV import brings it in at once instead of typing each record. It is also how opening balances and charts of accounts usually arrive.

The file’s columns are matched to the system’s fields, ideally by header name so their order does not matter. Each row should pass the same checks as a record typed on screen: required fields, valid tax numbers, codes not already in use.

The common mistake is an import that saves the good rows and skips the bad ones. Half the customers arrive, nobody knows which, and fixing the file means hunting for duplicates. An import should land whole or not at all.
