API integration

In Arabic التكامل عبر واجهة البرمجة (API)

An API integration is a connection in which two software systems exchange data automatically through their application programming interfaces, instead of people retyping it.

In plain words

A distributor’s data rarely lives in one place: a head-office system, an online store, a logistics partner. Retyping customers or orders between them is slow and introduces errors. An integration passes the record across as soon as it changes, so both sides hold the same thing.

One system calls the other’s API, or sends it a webhook when something happens, carrying the data in an agreed format. Field names and codes rarely match, so a field map translates them. Calls are signed so the receiver knows who sent them, and a call that fails is retried.

The common mistake is building the happy path only. Sooner or later the other end is down, a code is unknown or a field is missing. Without retries, a log and a way to replay what failed, records go missing silently and the two systems drift apart.

In Axon Suite

How Axon Suite handles it

Axon Suite sends each new customer to your own middleware over a signed webhook, through your field map. Failed calls are retried, and what still fails waits in a dead-letter queue for you to replay.

Feature

Signed webhooks you can replay

Axon Suite posts each new customer to your own middleware through your field map, signed so you know it came from you. Failures are retried, kept for replay, and a kill switch stops sending while you fix the other end.
