In Arabic شروط الدفع
Payment terms are the agreed conditions for when an invoice must be paid, such as a number of days after the invoice date or after the end of the month.
Payment terms turn an invoice into a due date. They tell the customer when to pay and tell you when a balance becomes overdue, which is what collection calls and aging reports are built on.
Common terms are cash on delivery, net days such as net 30, end of month plus a number of days, and a fixed day of the month. Each customer usually has a standard term, with an exception allowed on a particular deal.
The common mistake is counting due dates by hand, or from different starting points for different customers. Two invoices on the same term then fall due on different days, and overdue lists cannot be trusted.
In Axon Suite
In Axon Suite every customer and vendor carries a term (net days, end of month, end of next month or a fixed day of the month), and each document’s due date is calculated from its date and that term.
Set each term once: net days, end of this month or the next plus days, or a fixed day of the month. Every customer and vendor carries a term, and each document’s due date is calculated from its date and that term.
