Line discount
In Arabic خصم البند
A line discount is a reduction applied to a single line of an order or invoice, lowering the price of that one item rather than the whole document.

A line discount is a reduction applied to a single line of an order or invoice, lowering the price of that one item rather than the whole document.
Line discounts let a seller price one item sharply, to clear stock, match a competitor or push a new product, without touching the rest of the order. They also show exactly which items were sold below their list price.
A line discount is usually a percentage or an amount off the line’s value, taken before VAT. Where an invoice discount also applies, the line discount normally comes first, and the invoice discount is worked out on what remains.
The common mistake is letting line discounts stack with no limit. A line discount and an invoice discount given by the same rep can add up to far more than anyone meant to give away.
In Axon Suite
In Axon Suite line discounts can be switched off in sales settings, and then only users with the price-override permission can give one. Each rep’s discount ceiling is checked on every line on the server.
On each rep’s profile you decide whether they may give a discount and, if so, their maximum percentage. Every order and invoice from the rep app is held to it on the server, on the line and on the whole document.
