Product assortment

In Arabic تشكيلة المنتجات

A product assortment is the set of items a business chooses to offer to a given channel, store or customer group, out of its full range.

In plain words

Few customers need your whole range. A corner shop wants the fast sellers, a supermarket wants more, a pharmacy wants something else again. An assortment matches what is offered to what that channel actually buys.

For field sales, the assortment is usually set per rep or per route. It decides what the rep shows, what goes on the van and what the rep may sell, which keeps vans lighter and conversations shorter.

The common mistake is giving every rep the full list. Reps then load and offer items their customers never buy, van stock grows, and slow items age on the van instead of in the warehouse.

How Axon Suite handles it

In Axon Suite you give each rep a catalogue of the items they may sell. The rep app shows only those items, and orders, invoices and van loads outside it are refused.

Feature

A product catalogue for each rep

Build catalogues of items and give each rep one. The rep app lists only the items in it, and an order, an invoice or a van load naming anything else is refused on the server.
