Simplified invoice

In Arabic الفاتورة المبسّطة

A shorter tax invoice issued to a buyer with no tax number, usually a consumer, carrying fewer details than a full tax invoice.

In plain words

Shoppers and walk-in customers rarely have a tax number and do not reclaim VAT, so the full buyer details of a tax invoice are not needed. Many schemes allow a simplified invoice for these sales.

It still shows the seller and its tax number, the date, the items and the VAT, or states that prices include it. Under e-invoicing it is signed, carries a QR code and is usually reported after issue rather than cleared first.

The common mistake is issuing a simplified invoice to a business buyer who gave a tax number. They cannot reclaim the VAT on it, and the sale has to be credited and invoiced again.

In Axon Suite

How Axon Suite handles it

In Axon Suite an invoice to a buyer without a tax number is simplified: it is signed at posting and reported to the authority afterwards. Its QR prints on the office PDF and on the rep’s Bluetooth printer.

Feature

Signed invoices with their QR

Axon Suite signs each invoice as it posts and prints its QR, on the office PDF and on the rep’s Bluetooth printer. An invoice the rep raised offline gets its QR once the van syncs.
