The rep counts. The office approves. The books follow.
At the end of the day the rep counts the van’s stock and then the cash in hand. By default the rep counts blind, without seeing what the system expects. The office approves the close, and any difference posts to your over and short account.

How the day closes
Finish the last visit
The close is refused while a visit is still open.
Count the van
The rep counts the van’s stock and submits the count. A rep who carries stock cannot close cash before it.
Count the cash
The rep enters the cash and the card or transfer takings. Submitting closes the workday.
Approve in the office
A user with approval rights on field reconciliations approves it. The cash moves to your main accounts, and any difference posts to over and short.
Details that matter
Blind counting
A setting decides whether the rep sees the expected amounts while counting. It is on unless you turn it off.
Two buckets
Cash and non-cash are counted and compared separately, each against what the rep is expected to hold.
Differences reach the dashboard
A close to approve and a van count that does not match both appear in the supervisor’s list of things to look at.
Questions buyers ask
Can the rep see what they should have?
Only if you allow it. By default the count is blind and the expected figures appear only to the office.
Where does a cash shortfall go?
On approval, the difference posts to the over and short account set in your field settings.
Can the close be done offline?
No. The end-of-day close needs a connection.
