B2B ordering is the way business customers, such as retailers, place orders with their supplier online at their own agreed prices, rather than through a rep or by phone.
Business buyers order the same items again and again, at prices agreed in advance. Letting them order themselves, at any hour, cuts the calls and messages a sales team spends on routine orders and leaves reps time to sell.
A B2B ordering channel shows each customer their own catalogue and prices, checks stock and the customer’s terms, and passes the order into the same flow as any other. Unlike a consumer shop, prices differ per customer and payment is often on account or on delivery.
The common mistake is running the ordering channel on its own price list and stock figures. Retailers then see prices or availability the office does not honour, and the first order becomes the first complaint.
In Axon Suite
With the Axon Suite customer app your retailers sign in with their phone number, browse your catalogue at the prices of their own price list and order, and the order lands in Axon Suite like any other.
Your retailers sign in with their phone number, browse the catalogue at the prices of their own price list, and check out against what is really in stock. Axon Suite works out every total before the order is placed.
