Buy ten, get one free, counted for you
Set a promotion once: buy a quantity of one item and get a quantity of another free. Every qualifying cart gets its free goods as a zero-price line named after the promotion, in the office, the rep app and the customer app, and the free quantity grows with each full multiple.

How a promotion is set up
Create the promotion
Give it a name, a priority among your promotions, and switch it on.
Set the condition
The item to buy and the quantity that earns one reward.
Set the reward
The item given free and how many for each multiple.
Sell
Each cart is checked against every active promotion in priority order, and each one it qualifies for adds its free line.
Details that matter
Free means free
The free line is priced at zero and cannot be discounted or given another price.
In the unit sold
The free goods are added in the same unit of measure as the line that earned them.
Switch it off when it ends
A promotion applies while it is active. Start and end dates are not checked when pricing, so switch it off when the offer closes.
Questions buyers ask
Can a promotion take a percentage or an amount off?
Not yet. Buy-and-get-free is the one promotion type applied when pricing.
Can two promotions apply to one cart?
Yes. Every active promotion is checked in priority order, and each one the cart qualifies for adds its own free line.
Does the rep see the free goods before saving?
Yes. The rep app shows the free line in the cart, with the promotion’s name on it.
